PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a spinning effect in a general shape by specifying the ratio of the compression rigidity of the vertical direction and horizontal direction of a racket frame. SOLUTION: The ratio of vertical rigidity to the horizontal rigidity of this racket frame 1 is set to the range of 2.2-3.0. It is desirable to set the vertical rigidity of the racket frame 1 to 7kgf/mm-11kgf/mm and it is most preferable to set it to 9kgf/mm-11kgf/mm further. Also, the thickness of a shaft 5 in the side face width direction of the racket frame 1 is set thinner than the maximum thickness of a frame part 4 for 5mm-10mm. Thus, by the correlation of the deflection of the racket frame 1 and the deformation of a ball at the time of hitting the ball, a spinning amount is increased. Thus, the ball is freely put into an opposite side court as aimed. |
