<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect diesel particulates contained in exhaust gas and to increase the durability of a reproduced exhaust gas emission control device. SOLUTION: An electric heater 5 and a diesel particulate collection filter 11 are provided from an exhaust gas upstream side in the exhaust gas route 4 of a diesel engine, the downstream side of the filter 11 is tapered toward its center and formed in a truncated cone shape, a gap 14 is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the downstream side 13 and the inner surface of the exhaust gas route 4 and, when the density of diesel particulates collected by the filter 11 reaches a fixed value, the diesel particulates are burned by exhaust gas heated by the electric heater 5 and the filter 11 is reproduced.</p> |
