PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a chewing toy for dogs capable of easily producing the chewing toy for dogs, which toys are made of natural rubber, have excellent moldability and workability and consist of free deign shapes. SOLUTION: The chewing toy for dogs consisting of 100% natural rubber and having the desired shapes are formed by injecting low-ammonia natural rubber latex consisting of 60% dry rubber-component formed by thickening fresh natural rubber latex and 40% moisture into a mold vessel of a desired shape and subjecting this latex to vulcanization with hot air to form the natural rubber latex for working of the desired shape contg. <=10% moisture, then molding this natural rubber latex for working to the desired design shape and vulcanizing the molded latex with the hot air at 100 to 110 deg.C. If necessary, coloring agents and odorous agents are added and incorporated therein to impart desired colors and desired odors (for example, beef odor) to the chewing toy. |
