PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fasten and fix a narrow leaf spring by forming an inner width between the bent parts of a pair of inclined leg parts of a U bolt to be nearly equal to the width of the leaf spring, the pair of inclined leg parts extending fan-shaped of the U bolt being for fastening and fixing the leaf spring to an axle. SOLUTION: A leaf spring is composed of a main leaf spring 20 and a helper leaf spring 22 which are stacked together, the tip part of a U bolt 44 fitted around the leaf spring is inserted into an axle side attaching member 38 and a nut is threadedly engaged with the screw part of the tip part. In this case, the U bolt 44 includes a horizontal side part 52 extending in the width direction of the leaf springs 20 and 22, left and right inclined leg parts 46b expanded to the outside from both ends of the horizontal side part 52 via a bent part 54 and a tip part 46a extending from the inclined leg part 46b via a bent part 56. A width between the bent parts 54 is formed to be nearly equal to that of the leaf spring and thus the leaf spring is surely fastened and fixed. |
