摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize fuel economy by performing control for stopping the cooler of a car air conditioner when an automobile reaches an ascending slope road and utilizing an inertial force produced in a descending slope road as an auxiliary motive power so as to reduce the load of a main engine and prevent engine overheating. SOLUTION: When an automobile 3 reaches an ascending slope road 5 from a horizontal road 4 during traveling and an automatic controller 2 including a level sensor senses an inclination ofθdeg., the operation of a cooler incorporated in a car air conditioner is stopped. When the automobile reaches the horizontal road 4 or a descending slope road 6 and this is sensed by the automatic controller 2, the cooler 1 incorporated in the car air conditioner is operated by using an inertial force produced especially in the descending slope road as an auxiliary motive force. Thus, the load of a main engine is reduced, engine overheating is prevented and fuel economy is provided.
