PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load detecting device in which the calculated value of load obtained from the motor torque can be used as a detected value of load. SOLUTION: A load detecting device is composed of a motor torque command circuit 4, car position detection circuit 7, operating direction command circuit 8, a motor torque memory circuit 10, and a load calculation circuit 9, wherein the memory circuit 10 stores the motor torque commands in the respective conditions of the upper story and lower story when the elevator is operated with the load specified for installation adjustment. The unbalance load of a wire rope 19 depending upon the car position and the load calculation error caused by variation in the running resistance, etc., depending upon the operating direction are subjected to a proportional approximation by the load calculation circuit 9 on the basis of the data given by the memory circuit 10, and the obtained load calculation value is corrected and used as a load detecting device. |
