PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling machine which can make extremely fast the speed of a thin and long piece on which a label is stuck. SOLUTION: A transfer mechanism to convey a base plate 3 to a peeling mechanism 7 and also convey a peeled label 4 to a thin and long piece, is constituted of at least one transfer element to transfer the base plate 3 together with the label 4 to the the peeling mechanism 7, or to transfer the peeled label to the thin and long piece, a drive means driving the transfer element in a variable speed, a means to retain the base plate 3 together with the label 4 without direct contact with a part of the transfer element and/or to retain the peeled label 4 turning outward against a part of the transfer element, together with the adhesion side thereof as long as the former does not closely stick onto the thin and long piece. |
