BURNER FOR SYNTHESIS OF GLASS RAW MATERIAL AND PRODUCTION OF GLASS RAW MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for synthesis of a glass raw material inhibiting attachment of glass fine particles on a tip of a raw material ejecting port, reducing a total amount of combustible gas and improving sedimentation efficiency of the glass. SOLUTION: A glass raw material can stably be produced with a small amount of combustible gas by using a burner having a raw material ejecting port 1 at the center, first combustible gas ejecting ports 2 and second combustible gas ejecting ports 3 in respectively concentrically on the periphery of the central ejecting port 1, and arranging a plurality of small diameter combustion-supporting gas ejecting ports 4 directing to one point on the burner central axis in the second combustible gas ejecting ports 3 concentrically.
