<p>A steeply inclined sieve tray, with side cheeks, is mounted on a fixed frame by means of vibration bearings. On each side cheek, located on the transverse axis through the centre of gravity of the sieve, is an imbalance motor with its axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal axis of the sieve. The motors counter-rotate, thus producing vibrations only in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the sieve.</p> |
