<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of device components when a paper feeding tray is pulled out by erroneous operation by a user. SOLUTION: When a paper feeding tray is pulled out, a fixed gear 19 in a bottom plate rising driving unit 13 rotates, which rotates a lever to push up a bottom plate through a shaft 10 connected to a coupling 18 at an end of a sliding shaft 20 and bumps against the bottom of the paper feeding tray. When the fixed gear 19 rotates further, a sheet loading unit of the paper feeding tray is pushed out by sliding of the sliding shaft 20 and follows a cover unit. When pulling out speed is too fast, a screw unit 44 slides on a gear unit 43 of the fixed gear 19 and the sliding shaft 20 becomes to be movable. As the screw unit 44 transmits a rotating drive force of the gear unit 43 to the sliding shaft 20 side in spite of its movement, the action of the slide shaft 20 starts lately, a return claw 25 of the coupling 18 is separated from a pin 12 of the shaft 10, and the paper feeding tray can be pulled out.</p> |
