<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect treated water not mixed with sludge even if CODcr load of org. waster water (raw water) to be treated is high and the generation amt. of anaerobic gas is much and to forcibly return sludge subjected to sedimentation treatment to a reaction part to perfectly subject org. matter in raw water to biological treatment. SOLUTION: A reaction part 21 having an anaerobic sludge bed 22 formed at the bottom part thereof and having a water supply pipe 23 supplying org. waste water into the sludge bed as ascending streams is formed and a bottomed cylindrical sedimentation part 24 is arranged above the reaction part and a partition wall 28 is arranged around the sedimentation part 4 to set the interval between the sedimentation part and the partition wall to a rising water channel 29. A communication means 30 allowing the rising water channel to communicate with the interior of the sedimentation part is formed and a barrier plate 34 is fitted under the lower end of the rising water channel and a return pipe 33 returning sludge sedimented on the bottom of the sedimentation part to the reaction part is disposed between the bottom of the sedimentation part and the reaction part and treated water is taken out of the tank from the upper part in the sedimentation part.</p> |
