SOLUTION: This rear lateral warning device for vehicle outputs, to a controller, the signal of an object detecting means B fitted at a rear bumper for vehicle. The controller calculates a relative position between an object and a vehicle with a relative position calculating means B1 from the position signal of the object detecting means B, and a relative speed calculating means B2 calculates relative speed to the object.
