PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out waste treatment without being accompanied with residual substance to be discarded by converting raw material compounded gas generated at the time of gasifying wastes into usable substances step by step in a wet treatment stage and after that separating the usable substances by precipitation, ion-exchange reaction, and separation reaction in steps. SOLUTION: Raw material compounded gas is converted into respective components (especially into Cl, Pb, etc.) in a spray-quench (a spraying type quenching apparatus) 2 and at the same time the raw material compounded gas is cooled again to prevent regeneration of harmful organic substances (dioxins, furan, etc.). After that, the raw material compounded gas is led to a neutralization tank 3 and the vapor of the raw material gas is neutralized at pH8 or higher. Next, sulfur, which is usable as a valuable substance is taken out of an outlet 6 by sending the resultant neutralized raw material gas to a composite converter 4 through a heating process 6', and successively leading the gas to a converting process, glycerin cleaning process for dust removal, a sulferox process, and a low temperature drying process and on the other hand, usable gas is taken out through an activated carbon filter 5. |
