PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticorrosive for aluminium or aluminium alloy tanks which is capable of preventing corrosion of the aluminium or aluminium alloy tanks and maintains an extremely low COD level even if mixed. SOLUTION: Polyhexamethylenebiguanidehydrothioride is kept to be mixed into service water to be injected into the aluminium or aluminium alloy tanks so as to be at an concentration of 10ppm to 20ppm, for example, for the purpose of preventing corrosion which occurs while the water is injected into and discharged from the aluminium or aluminium alloy tanks. This polyhexamethylenebiguanidehydrothioride completely prevents corrosion of aluminium or aluminium alloy by being merely mixed into the service water at a concentration of 5ppm to 10ppm and COD at that time is 0.1ppm to 0.2ppm, which are extremely low values.
