PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin compsn. which is excellent in various properties, such as rigidity and impact resistance, can be molded by extrusion, injection molding or the like, and is suitable for use as a master batch. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin compsn. comprises: 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin compsn. comprising 5 to 95wt.% polyethylene resin (a) prepd. by copolymerizing ethylene with anα-olefin in the presence of a metallocene compd. contg. a tetravalent transition metal as a polymn. catalyst and 95 to 5wt.% polypropylene resin (b) having such an elution distribution, as determined by cross fractionation chromatography, that, based on 100wt.% in total eluate, the proportion of an eluate at a temperature of 0 deg.C or below is 10 to 60wt.%, the proportion of an eluate at 0 to 90 deg. is 10 to 85wt.%, and the proportion of an eluate at 90 deg.C or above is 5 to 50wt.%; and 10 to 900 pts.wt. inorg. filler.
