FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of galanthamine of the general formula (II) <EMI ID=0.215 HE=36 WI=42 TI=CHI> where R means hydrogen, (C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>12</SB>)-alkylcarbonyl, (C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>12</SB>)-alkoxycarbonyl, mono-(C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>12</SB>)-alkylaminocarbonyl or di-(C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>12</SB>)-alkylaminocarbonyl; R means mono-(C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>18</SB>0-alkylaminocarbonyloxy- or di-(C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>8</SB>)-alkylaminocarbonyloxy-group; R means hydrogen or halogen, or their pharmaceutically acceptable acid-additive salts. Compounds of the general formula (II) are benefit as inhibitors of acetylcholine esterase. Invention proposes also pharmaceutical composition based on indicated derivatives.
