FIELD: formation of high-power shock waves in continuous media. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dynamic test of construction materials. Charge of fixed chemical composition in the form of set of layers having density diminishing from point of initiation towards loaded object is used in gear for enhanced efficiency of action of charge of solid explosive by way of increase of coefficient of transfer of chemical energy to kinetic one in compliance with law <EMI ID=0.231 HE=15 WI=36 TI=CHI>, where ρ<SB>oo</SB> is density of layer first from point of charge initiation; ρ<SB>oi</SB> is density of i-th layer; x<SB>i</SB> is coordinate of i-th layer; i is ordinal number of layer, i=0.1,...m, where m <EMI ID=0.232 HE=3 WI=9 TI=CHI> 3; L<SB>o</SB> is parameter of dimensionality of length; delta 0.1 and relation of density ρ<SB>oo</SB> of first layer to that ρ<SB>om</SB> of last one from point of initiation lies within interval <EMI ID=0.233 HE=6 WI=36 TI=CHI>.
