FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: cartridge case is produced from a rod by cutting-off a measured piece from it. A stepped cup-shaped semifinished product is made with a primer holder formed by combination of reverse and direct extrusion. Then drawing is accomplished with ironing of the wall in the expanded part of the step. After that the flange is formed. Then a complex of finishing operations is carried out.
