FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves making a 2 cm long cut above the tuberosity and medial relative to the proper ligament of the kneepan. Tunnel is produced by means of punch having rectangular cross-section. Rod is introduced into the produced tunnel to reach the fractured part. The rod is directed with its narrow lateral facet being common for all three areas towards the internal lateral wall of the bone, the other lateral facet being turned in the direction of external bone wall. Broad area fold is directed towards tibial crest. After performing closed reposition, the rod is hammered into the inferior fractured fragment. Locking screw is introduced into single or several threaded holes in the broad area of the rod along guiding member.
