FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying non-contacting method for measuring parameters of respiratory movements of chest by means of transducers placed to the right and to the left of on the screen set in front of chest of the person under examination. The patient sits in an armchair provided with electromagnetic radiation emitter. The measured parameters are read on- line and recorded in the personal computer memory. Chest movements amplitude at the level of its superomedial and inferior regions, anterior abdomen wall and diaphragm movements are applied as parameters. The received data are extrapolated over general lung volumes and over each lung volumes in particular. EFFECT: excluded risk of traumatic injuries and infection; high information capacity of method. 4 dwgl
