The winder consists of a handle (1), which is mounted on a hand held support (2,6), and a forked spindle (3). The shaft of the spindle is supported in a bearing (4) which is mounted in a hub (7) which is part of the support (2,6). The strip, which is to be wound-up, is passed through a strip guide (5) and between the prongs of the forked spindle (3) after which the handle (1) is turned.
