<p>The wire cutter has a cutting element (1) which is moved by a drive relative to a shear element (10). The cutting element is in the form of a disc. Its circumference is at least in sections in the form of a cutter (2,2',2"). The cutting element is coupled to the drive in such a manner that different sectors of the cutter can be moved past the shear element to make the cut. The cutting element may be in the form of a basically circular disc knife with a number of cutting sectors uniformly distributed round its circumference, with recesses extending inwards between the sectors.</p> |
