<p>The invention concerns a cleaning and coagulating device for cleaning tools soiled with pigments, paints, coolants, abrasives, de-greasing agents or the like, and for separating the waste water thereby produced into clean water and contaminant residue. The device comprises a housing with a cleaning tank (3), an agitation device (4) fitted in the cleaning tank (3), a trap container (6) and a filter (8) mounted on the trap container (6) for filtering out residues from the waste water. This cleaning and coagulating device is characterised by the fact that the cleaning tank has a first side wall aligned roughly vertically relative to the top aperture (10), a second side wall facing and inclined towards the first, and third and fourth side walls (13, 14) adjacent to the first and second and facing and inclined towards one another. The particular shape of the cleaning tank (3) gives it a greater capacity and ensures especially favourable flow characteristics for creating turbulence in the water.</p> |
