In motor vehicles or the like, a head support (1) consists of a core (2) of particulate foam, e.g. of polyethylene and/or polypropylene, over which is an intermediate layer (4) of polyurethane foam which is bonded to the core during the foaming process. Pref. the intermediate layer extends over the corners of the core and partic. almost completely surrounds the core.
