<p>A guard-rail consisting of elastic structures comprises an elastic rail (1) consisting of two superimposed layers (2',2'') of rubber and steel; the superimposed layers (2',2'') are tensile stressed by steel tie-rods (3); the rail (1) is connected to a supporting structure (4) by compression springs (5) located at suitable distances; the supporting structure (4) is elastic and supported by piers (6) of steel or reinforced concrete driven into the soil at the sides of the road edges; the piers (6) are connected to the supporting structure (4) by elastic connections; each pier (6) is associated with one compression spring (5). <IMAGE></p> |
