Electronic camera and associated printer which uses a display image

The apparatus has a camera for electronically storing an image of a subject. There is a display for showing the stored image, and also an alignment mechanism. A printer device has a section for receiving a photosensitive sheet and a drive for providing a relative movement between a display area, on the display, and the photosensitive sheet. The printer also has an optical mechanism for focussing the display area onto the photosensitive sheet, and an electronic communication arrangement between the electronic camera and the printer. This is such that the printing area of the display is imaged on the photosensitive sheet.
