The cardiac stimulating device has a measuring unit(10) which includes a sensor(12) producing an acceleration signal, and circuits(22- 24) which deliver from this acceleration signal, a parameter(S) linked to a function of the device controlling a cardiac stimulation frequency. The device has means(24) which limits in the increasing sense, a value linked with a module of the acceleration signal. The limitation is operated on a value proportional to the square of the acceleration signal. The limitation is operated on a quadratic sum of individual acceleration components(Xi, Yi,Zi) along two distinct axes delivered by a number of respective sensors.
