<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a direction of a face hardly change in a swing by forming a large diameter area having the largest outer diameter on a head mounting part side with respect to an area corresponding to a grip part, and installing a member formed by a material of high specific gravity on the large diameter area. SOLUTION: In a golf club shaft where an outer diameter is gradually decreased from a point of a shaft toward the base side of the same into a shape of inverse taper, in an area corresponding to a grip part, the structure of drawing b is preferably applied to realize the shape of drawing a, that is, the shape having the expanded front part on the grip part of the shaft. A main body layer 3 is formed by winding the main body pre-preg, then a pre-preg for increasing the outer diameter, is wound on the same to form an outer diameter increase layer 2, and then a pre-preg of high specific gravity is wound, to form a high specific gravity layer 1. The golf club shaft having the above-mentioned structure, has high moment of inertia, so that it is hardly rotated at the swinging.</p> |
