<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washrag made of a natural wooden material such as a paulownia wood material, a white cedar material or the like for use at the time of washing the body in a bathroom or the like. SOLUTION: A wooden washrag A is formed into a rectangular solid by use of a paulownia wood material, and the corner parts thereof are finished to be round. The wooden washrag A has rubbing surfaces 1 and 2 formed on the upper and the lower sides thereof, and holding surfaces 3 to 6 formed on the sides thereof. The rubbing surfaces 1 and 2 are formed by use of the cut ends of the wood material and cut so as to have cutting planes approximately orthogonal with the fiber direction of the material. Annual rings 7 appear on the rubbing surfaces 1 and 2. Cells for forming the annual rings 7 are surrounded by a partition wall formed with wooden fiber, and the gaps of the cells become hollow in general. Regarding the rubbing surfaces 1 and 2, the first rubbing surface 1 is finely finished with sand paper, and roughness formed on the cutting planes of the cell divisions appearing on the surface is thereby reduced. The lower rubbing surface 2 is formed so as to give no change to a plane cut with a saw and have relatively large roughness due to the cutting plane of the cell divisions.</p> |
