PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an improved fluidized bed catalyst for ammoxidation of propylene to acrylonitrile. SOLUTION: This catalyst consists of a catalytic compsn. represented by the formula Aa Bb Cc Dd Nae Fef Big Moh Ox and a silica carrier. In the formula, A is K, Rb, Cs Tl or a mixture of them, B is Mn, Mg, Sr, Ca, Ba, a rare earth metal other than Pr and Nd or a mixture of them, C is P, As, B, Sb, Cr, W, V or a mixture of them, D is Ni and/or CoLi or PrNd, 0.001<=a<=2.0, 0<=b<=4.5, 0.01<=c<=8.0, 0.01<=d<=22.0, 0.01<=e<=0.7, 0.01<=f<=8.0, 0.01<=g<=6.0, 8<=h<=16 and (x) is the number of required oxygen atoms. |
