PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle in which a coating layer capable of providing molten glass with good releasability is formed on a nozzle main body so that molten glass shows good releasability from the nozzle and also, any crystallized glass is prevented from remaining in an injection port of the nozzle, etc. SOLUTION: This injection nozzle 22 is a component of an injection cartridge 20 and is to be connected to a sprue of a forming mold and also, provided with an injection port 24 for injecting molten glass. In the nozzle 22, a coating layer 26 is formed on the surface comprising at least the inner surface of a nozzle main body 25 made of tungsten carbide. This coating layer 26 is capable of providing molten glass with good releasability and also, unreactive to glass and further, hardly peeled off from the nozzle main body 25 and accordingly, has good durability. The formation of the coating layer 26 comprises forming a film of a nitride such as hafnium nitride or metal such as platinum on the surface of the nozzle main body 25 with a film formation technique such as vacuum deposition, sputtering, ion plating, plasma CVD(chemical vapor deposition), or the like. |
