PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an operator recognize a storable number of images in advance by a method wherein the number of remaining images of ultrasonic images storable in a memory means, is calculated, and when the number of the remaining images becomes a specified number or less, the number of the remaining images is displayed. SOLUTION: An echo signal which is obtained by an ultrasonic probe 1, is converted into a display image signal by a digital scanning converter 3, and by a synthesizing unit 4, the display image signal is synthesized with a graphic image signal from a CPU 6 into one frame, and is stored in a memory of an image collecting-reproducing unit 7. A remaining amount monitor 8 measures a remaining capacity of the memory of the image collecting-reproducing unit 7, and obtains the number of images which can be stored in the image collecting-reproducing unit 7. The CPU 6 compares the number of remaining images which can be stored in the image collecting-reproducing unit 7 with a warning start number of images, and when the number of storable images is the warning start number of image or less, the CPU 6 writes the number of remaining images in a graphic picture by a numerical value or by a graph such as bar graph, and makes a monitor 5 display the number of remaining images. |
