<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new cell giving an antibody effective for the quick and surface detection of detergent, etc., in water or soil specimen by fusing a myeloma cell to a spleen cell of an animal immunized with a compound of a protein and a surfactant compound for synthetic detergent. SOLUTION: This new hybridoma is produced by fusing a myeloma cell to a spleen cell or a lymph node cell of an animal immunized with a compound of a protein and a surfactant compound for synthetic detergent, e.g. an anionic surfactant such as alkyl sulfate, alkylbenzenesulfonate or alkylnaphthalenesulfonate or a nonionic surfactant such as polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether or polyoxyether polystyrylphenyl ether. The hybridoma produces a monoclonal antibody against the above compound or its decomposition product. It is useful e.g. for the production of a monoclonal antibody effective for the quick and reliable immunological means for the detection of a detergent and/or a decomposed detergent in water or soil specimen.</p> |
