PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization/insecticidal device for processing fungi and insect pests parasitic on food (fruit tree) such as mangos and papayas or the like for instance. SOLUTION: A heating tank 14 for heating the fruit tree 2 by the heating water 13 at a sterilization/insecticidal temperature and a cooling tank 16 for cooling the fruit tree 2 by cooling water 15 are arranged in the middle of a carrying route for carrying the fruit tree 2, a first mounting body 32 for mounting a holding basket 3 is fitted freely vertically movably to the heating tank 14 by a first elevating and lowering device 33 and a second mounting body 52 for mounting the holding basket 3 following the first mounting body 32 is fitted freely vertically movably to the cooling tank 16 by a second elevating and lowering device 53. Thus, the fruit tree is easily sterilized and insecticided without making an operator apply or atomize chemicals to the fruit tree 2. Also, since the fruit tree 2 is not sterilized or insecticided by using the chemicals, the fruit tree 2 is hardly damaged.
