<p>The displacement of oil from a subterranean seam comprises a stage of injection, under pressure, by one or more injection wells successively with plugs of fluid to displace the hydrocarbons in the formation, and a recovery stage, by one or more production wells, of the displaced hydrocarbons. The injection stage comprises the successive injection of plugs of moist fluid which have been saturated with a gas under pressure and gaseous plugs to scavenge the more permeable zones. The production stage comprises the relaxation of the pressure in the formation so as to generate, in-situ, gas bubbles by nucleation in the pores of the less permeable zone, and to free hydrocarbons to the more permeable zones where they are scavenged by the gaseous plugs.</p> |
