PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene based resin composition excellent in flexibility, heat resistance, marring resistance, transparency and cold resistance and having high tensile elongation. SOLUTION: This composition consists of 3-95wt.% ethylene/1-butene copolymer (A) and 97-5wt.% crystalline polypropylene resin (B) and satisfies the following conditions: the loss tangent (tanδ) of the composition, based on the glass transition temperature obtained from the temperature dependence of kinematic viscoelasticity thereof appears as a single peak on the lower temperature side of the peak of tanδof component B alone; component A has neither a crystal fusion peak nor a crystallization peak when measured with a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC); and the 1-butene content of component A is at least 83wt.%, or the 1-butene content of the component A and the glass transition temperature thereof measured with DSC satisfy the relation of the formula T<=0.64X-102, provided that 60<=X<83 [wherein T is the glass transition temperature ( deg.C) of component A; and X is the wt.% of 1-butene in component A].
