<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically heating method which restrains electric power loss in an electric transmission material and can heat a metallic material at high heating efficiency, when heating the metallic material by directly conducting the electric power to the metallic material such as metallic rod having comparatively large cross-sectional area. SOLUTION: This electrically heating method comprises conducting the electric power by bringing electrodes into contact with both end parts of the metallic material to be heated and utilizing Jourle's heat of the material to be heated to execute the heating. In such a case, the metallic materials 1 are two or more pieces and are formed by electrically connecting in series with the electric transmission materials 7 through the electrodes 2 contacting with these end parts of the metallic materials, and both ends 5a, 5b of the metallic materials 1 electrically connected in series, are arranged so as to be approached, and the each electrode 2 is brought into contact with each of the both ends, and electric transmission lines electrically conducted through the electric transmission materials 7 are to be shortened.</p> |
