PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet featuring faithful color reproduction of an original image for the color of magenta, sufficient coloring properties with low energy heat, high coloring density, and high stillness of image. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet comprises a thermal transfer layer composed of a binder resin and a dye being transferred thermally wherein the dye is a mixture of C.I. disperse red 60 and a dye shown by a formula. In the formula, X is any one of hydrogen atom, methyl group or acyl amino group, Y is any one of hydrogen atom or lower alcohol, R<1> , R<2> and R<3> are any one of hydrogen atom, alkyl group, cycloalkyl group or allyl group. |
