PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage at the joining boundary surface of an optical part and a supporting part by forming a projection part for abutting an operation instrument used for positioning after insertion from a same material as that of the optical part at the peripheral edge of the optical part of the intraocular lens of a one-piece type. SOLUTION: From the peripheral edge part of the optical part 1 of this intraocular lens of the one-piece type, the projection part composed of the same material as the optical part is formed. Further, at the peripheral edge part of the projection part 3, the skirt of the supporting part 2 is joined and formed so as to widen and extend a root part. The thickness of the projection part 3 is made the same as the thickness of the supporting part 2 or it can be connected to the supporting part 2 by gradually changing the thickness from the peripheral edge part of the optical part 1. The projection part 3 is provided with a side part 3a for abutting the operation instrument such as a part of tweezers of the like and performing the operation in the tip side direction or the connected supporting part 2. Thus, the need of directly operating the supporting part 2 is eliminated and the breakage of the joining boundary surface of the supporting part 2 and the optical part 1 is prevented. |
