PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine control device which can prevent an increase in soot while suppressing a bad influence to an engine main body, and can reduce the generation of NOx. SOLUTION: A fuel injection nozzle 8 is provided in a diesel engine 1, and the fuel amount corresponding to the engine operating condition is injected from the nozzle 8 by controlling a fuel injection pump 9 by a microcomputer 17. A pump 20, a switch valve 22, and a heater 23, are connected to a water tank 19, the water in the water tank 19 is contacted with a heating body in the heater 23, a steam is generated by the heat, and the steam can be fed to the inside of a suction pipe 12. A microcomputer 33 controls the switch valve 22, and the steam amount corresponding to the fuel injection amount is fed. |
