<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air bubbles from generating in a liquid crystal due to the entering of a gas in the liquid crystal regarding a liquid crystal panel of a configuration wherein the liquid crystal is pinched with plastic substrates. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 1 of a configuration wherein a liquid crystal is encapsulated between a pair of transparent plastic substrates, is packaged by this packaging method for storage and carrying, etc. For this method, a plurality of liquid crystal panels 1 are housed in a packaging box 4, and the packaging box 4 is housed in a housing bag 5, and a gas of the space in the housing bag 5 is replaced with N2 gas, and then, the opening of the housing bag 5 is airtightly sealed. By replacing the gas in the housing bag 5 with the N2 gas, O2 and CO2 can be removed from the inside of the housing bag 5, and in addition, since the N2 gas has a large molecular diameter and a small factor of solubility, and hardly permeates the plastic substrates, and the gas can be prevented from entering the inside of the liquid crystal through the plastic substrates, and for this reason, air bubbles can be prevented from generating in the liquid crystal.</p> |
