PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retreat structure for a foot pedal which can retreat the foot pedal to the front side of a car body surely in a simple structure when a load is input in the front direction of the car body. SOLUTION: This foot pedal furnishes an interfering member 2 to move to the rear side of a car body together with a dash panel 4 when a load heavier than a specific value is input from the front side of the car body, and an interfered member 3 rotating integrally with the foot pedal, as well as interfered by the interfering member 2, when the interfering member 2 moves more than a specific distance to the rear side of the car body. The interfered member 3 is rotated together with the foot pedal 5, by the movement of the interfering member 2 to the rear side of the car body more than a specific distance, so as to retreat the tread of the foot pedal 5 to the front side of the car body. |
