PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing installation method capable of erecting a bridge girder while giving a shear deformation to a bearing on a bridge pier without giving a shear deformation to the bearing in advance and without requiring the jigs for maintaining the shear deformation. SOLUTION: A bearing 22 is tilted on a shoe seat 14 of a bridge pier 12, and an anchor bolt 16 sticking out from the shoe seat 14 of the bridge pier 12 is inserted to a fixed hole 30 at one end 28A of a lower shoe 28. A bridge girder 20 is suspended over a bridge pier, and one end 26A of the upper shoe 26 is stuck to an corner portion 34 constituted with the bottom surface of a bridge girder 20 and an end face of a stopper 32 and us then fixed. In this state, the bridge girder 20 is lowered almost in vertical direction, the bearing 22 in a tilted stated is clamped from the upper and lower portions, and the deformed portion 24 of the bearing 22 is shear-deformed when seen from the side surface. In a state where the upper shoe 26 is plane-contacted to the bridge girder and the lower shoe 28 to the shoe seat 14 respectively, the lower shoes 28 is fixed to the shoe seat 14 and the upper shoe 26 is fixed to the bridge girder 20. |
