PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a plunlity of images on a photosensitive material by one laser scanning optical unit. SOLUTION: A parallel beam emitted from a laser light source is collected by a toroidal lens in a vertical direction. The laser light passing through the toroidal lens is reflected by a polygon mirror 1 driven to be rotated by a polygon motor 2 and is scanned to be collected by an Fθlens 3, then it forms an image on an image face of a photosensitive material 6a. At that time, the laser light is divided by a half mirror 4 so that a plurality of images are recorded on the photosensitive material 6a. In this case, in order to maintain a distance from the Fθlens 3 to photosensitive material 6a to be constant, the photosensitive material is placed to be inclined with respect to a chassis 5a of a laser scanning optical unit.
