PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to safely take exercise without breaking of a distance measuring device even if the user is carried backward by the movement of a movable surface. SOLUTION: A gate 11 having a buffer material 21 is provided in the rear of an endless track belt 1 in which a user 10 gets on the upper surface thereof to walk or run, and a distance measuring device 8 is provided on the outside of the buffer material 21 provided on the gate 11 to detect a positional deviationΔX through an opening part 21a. Even if the user 10 collides with the gate 11, the distance measuring device 8 is kept from being broken and the user 10 can be kept from directly colliding with the gate 11 and the distance measuring device 8 by the buffer material 21 not to be hurt.
