This is an electronic apparatus based on DSPs A, which is connected to a personal computer. The device interprets the orders which reach the computer in order to generate audiological signals of the required level and frequency, acting on a calibrated attenuator B. The entire operating process is carried out from a personal computer which is in communication with the device via RS232. The apparatus makes it possible to carry out aerial audiometries with pure tones, complying with the technical and procedural specifications which may be required of type-IV audiometers, according to standard IEC 645. <IMAGE>
