PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an inflator on a base plate surely by holding the fringe of a bag opening with part items as few as possible. SOLUTION: A connecting recess part 50 which consists of a first recess part 52 and a second recess part 54 is formed integrally on the circumferential wall of a lower case 28 in an inflator 16. In correspondence to this, a connecting protrusion 56 which can be deformed elasticity is formed integrally on a fringe of an opening 24 in an attaching part 14A on a base plate 14. Accordingly, after the positioning of the first recess part 52 and the engaging protrusion 56 is made, the inflator 26 is inserted into the opening 24 so that the fringe of the bag can be held between a flange part 26A and the attaching part 14A, and then rotated to engage the connecting protrusion 56 with the second recess part 54 elastically, and then the inflator 16 can be fixed on the base plate 14. This structure enables to reduce a larger number of part items than by a fixing structure using a conventional connection. |
