PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of a maintenance mechanism to contract the arranging space of the mechanism. SOLUTION: An ink jet head is constituted so as to be revolved to a printing position and a maintenance position on a plane and a maintenance mechanism 2 is made possible to be arranged at a position different from the opposed space part of the ink jet head turned toward the printing position. By this constitution, the space in a before and behind direction looked from the surface opposed to recording paper can be contracted. Further, the maintenance mechanism 2 having a plurality of maintenance parts arranged around the center of rotation is provided to be rotated to oppose a desired maintenance part to the ink jet head. Therefore, even when the multifunctional maintenance mechanism 2 is used, the structure thereof can be simplified and miniaturized. |
