PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel suspension of a road traveling vehicle, particularly a nondriven semirigid axle for a passenger car and for a commercial light vehicle. SOLUTION: A wheel suspension has a cross member of an axle, axle carrier, or rocking axle link, and has a trailing arm 1 mounted at each end of the cross member of the axle, axle carrier, or rocking axle link, the trailing arm 1 having a means 2 for mounting it on a wheel and a means 3 for mounting it on a vehicle. The trailing arm 1 is an extrusion molded hollow shape having one or plural chambers and is made of aluminum or one of its alloys. The trailing arm 1 has projecting parts 10, 11 pointed to the center of the vehicle. The projecting parts 10, 11 provided at the trailing arm 1 form a channel shape along with a wall strip 15 of the trailing arm 1.
