PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid type writing utensil equipped with a valve mechanism wherein a feed amount of ink to a pen body is suitably made variable, stability for a long period of a liquid thigh property with which a valve body in a closed valve state is urged to a valve seat is achieved, and the liquid thigh property is further improved. SOLUTION: A valve mechanism arranged in a shaft cylinder 1 in which an ink storing 2 side and a pen body 3 side are in a freely opening and closing manner, sectioned, is composed of a valve holder 15, a valve seat 16, a valve body 17, an elastic spring component, and a slide cylinder 20. The elastic spring component is provided wherein a first coil spring 18 urging the valve body to the valve seat with almost the same elastic spring force as writing pressure in writing, and a second coil spring 19 which receives the valve body 17 via a slide cylinder 20 with larger elastic spring force than the writing pressure at a position wherein the valve body 17 is retreated by being separated from the valve seat 16 to a required position against the first coil spring 18, are arranged coaxially in parallel with each other. The slide cylinder 20 is urged to the direction of valve seat 16 with the second coil spring 19, and is, in a coaxially slidable manner, supported with the valve holder 15 under a state in which front and rear transfer ranges are controlled. The valve body 17 is bounced in a valve seat 17 direction with the first coil spring 18, made to abut against a front end of the slide cylinder 20, and supported, in a coaxially slidable manner, with the slide cylinder 20 so as to be together with the slide cylinder 20 retreated by being further separated from the valve seat 16 against the second coil spring 19. |
